David Solomon, B.A. Hons (UWA), PhD (Monash) – Director and Head of Vision and Research
David is a polymathic scholar with degrees in English Literature, Anthropology, and Translation Studies. A life-long student of space, David’s research reaches all current developments in Lunar Science and the Space Industry.

Bill Syddall, BSc. (Curtin), MEng (Curtin), PGradCert (UNSW) – Director and Head of Lunar Pipeline Engineering
With degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and qualifications in Petroleum Engineering, Bill has worked in the Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas industry for over two decades in a variety of technical and project management roles in the US, China, Singapore, and Australia. He is a proven innovator and has delivered multiple projects from concept to operation. He currently works for a global top ten independent oil and gas company.

Dan Ricardo BSc. Hons. (Monash), PhD-cand. (Swinburne) - Consultant, Space
Currently a PhD candidate studying the geotechnical properties of dry and icy lunar regolith which is sponsored by a CSIRO Industry Scholarship, Dan is fast emerging as a strong communicator across numerous facets of the Space Industry. His experience includes Mission Director and Co-Founder of the Australian Rover Challenge, and Payload Scientist for the Monash Nova Rover, Melbourne Space Program cubesat, Monash High Powered Rocket and the Atacama Rover Astrobiology Drilling Studies (ARADS) rover at NASA Ames.

With qualifications in mechanical engineering and media platforms, Jeremy has over a decade’s experience in the synthesis and integration of large-scale systems across several industries, including Healthcare, Education, and Interface Software.

Joel Kuperholz, BEng. Hons, and B.Comm. (Monash) – Director and Head of Lunar Mechatronics
An award-winning engineer with unique expertise and experience in IoT monitoring, Joel was cofounder of the first Australian Mars Rover team (Monash University) to compete at Mars Desert Research Centre.

Author of The Ethics of Climate Change (2008), James is one of the best-known environmental philosophers in the world today. He currently holds the position of Secretary of the Royal Philosophical Society in London, UK.

Steve Greenberg (form. NASA ret.) – Consultant, Systems Safety
Working at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory for over 30 years as a systems engineer, Steve was an assurance tester for numerous NASA projects, including developing and overseeing launch safety systems.
